I was looking into getting this keyboard.

I wanted to know how sampling from songs works. What exactly can i do with the keyboard when I plug my Mp3 Player into it? other than listen to the song of course. And the SD card function.. is it for storing music so i can play along to it on the keyboard or what? I wanna learn how to sample but not for promotional use. I’m just a hobbyist that wants to make music at home. I wanna produce beats.. How does the MIDI function work? Please tell me everything you know about this.
MIDI as you may or may not know is just musical data. Sampling is taking a portion of a different song and using it in your own. So if you have a midi file of a different song, you can import it into that piano through USB or the SD card slot and then play it back, while you play over it. When you plug your MP3 player into it directly, you can only play back the music, because it is playing through an auxillary cable.
